What Did We Learn? OECD 443 Study Design Review and Future of ED Evaluations

We will be presenting findings from the final 2023 ECHA report/workshop related to OECD 443 study design changes (addition of learning and memory tests on OECD 443 studies including Cohort 2). We will present clarifications on the expectations of the study to support hazard assessment. ECHA findings, with recommended changes in study design that formed the basis of the workshop in May 2023, will show the variability observed and how this can impact hazard in terms of endocrine disruption. Finally, we will explain the importance of understanding the use of NAMs in ED assessments and future initiatives across the globe.
